James Corden welcomes hypnotist Richard Barker who selects a few audience members who are hypnotized and asked to take over hosting the show. As you can see from the video this was amazing (pictures below).
We did a rehearsal using real people who worked at CBS before the live segment. There was no time to waste and Richard Barker quickly got to hypnotizing volunteers who worked in the center.

What an awesome show with Reggie and the Band; guest Kelly Osbourne; and of course, Josh Duhamel (husband of Fergie). Richard Barker Hypnotizing Josh Duhamel was real, contrary to what people are saying on the Internet. This hypnotic energy was nonstop from the time the limo picked Richard up until the moment he left. Television history was made with this television hypnosis segment! The brief was to pick five volunteers and hypnotize them but nobody expected Josh Duhamel to volunteer and then go into a trance back stage. The suggestions stayed until the end of the segment where all hypnotized subjects danced at the end of the show.
